Surf Camp.

So a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be a counselor at Surf Camp. The Lord didn't let the fact that I could not surf keep me from meeting some amazing girls.

We had a great weekend and we were totally blessed.

I was very blessed by the teachings, the Lord really confirmed to me that for a season i do need to be home. It's sad, but it's exciting. There is so much joy to find in "counting all things loss" for the purpose of knowing Jesus Christ. God's ultimate purpose for our lives is our sanctification! It's about who we are, not where we are or who we are with. He loves us that much, that he purposes to get us alone with Him! I don't want to despise my Brooke Chareth. God may train us in strange ways, and in places we didn't expect. Paul's greatest desire was to get to Rome, but God had things for Him on the way. I may feel like I'm sidetracked, but the Lord knew it all along! You know your in the Lord's will when you are a continent away from your own agenda.

This passage I read in my devotions today really encouraged me. When God gives us a vision for a certian place or work it becomes so easy to try to make that vision happen. But we need to remember to wait on the Lord.

"God gives us a vision, and then He takes us down to the valley to batter us into the shape of that vision. It is in the valley that so many of us give up and faint. Every God-given vision will become real if we will only have patience. Just think of the enormous amount of free time God has! He is never in a hurry. Yet we are always in such a frantic hurry. While still in the light of the glory of the vision, we go right out to do things, but the vision is not yet real in us. God has to take us into the valley and put us through fires and floods to batter us into shape, until we get to the point where He can trust us with the reality of the vision. Ever since God gave us the vision, He has been at work. He is getting us into the shape of the goal He has for us, and yet over and over again we try to escape from the Sculptor’s hand in an effort to batter ourselves into the shape of our own goal.
The vision that God gives is not some unattainable castle in the sky, but a vision of what God wants you to be down here. Allow the Potter to put you on His wheel and whirl you around as He desires. Then as surely as God is God, and you are you, you will turn out as an exact likeness of the vision. But don’t lose heart in the process. If you have ever had a vision from God, you may try as you will to be satisfied on a lower level, but God will never allow it."

Bradford.

"Do you not say, There are still four months and then comes the Harvest? Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the feilds, for they are white already for Harvest." John 4:35

Finally me and my friends have arrived in Bradford. Getting here was a long and crazy couple of days! Our flight from LAX to Budapest didn't have any air conditioning, and the fire alarm went off for an hour. When we finally did arive in Vajta, I was so blessed to see Bible College friends and meet new people who are there for the summer. I spent a day at the Bible College, then we left for Bradford.

Kidzone starts on monday July 20th, and goes to Friday August 10th. Please pray for us and for the children's hearts. A verse that God gave me for this trip is John 4:35. Our vision for this trip is to really see these kids come to know Jesus as the king of their hearts. We are praying that they will develop a deep desire to serve the Lord and tell others about Him. God is doing a mighty work in this place. I am learning though that before much fruit is born, a pruning time is necessary. So pray that this church will get through the valley as God brings this harvest to pass.

Please continue to pray that my heart would be open and I would be always ready to hear from the Lord. Also, pray that all of our teachings would really affect the kids. The enemy so easily gets a stronghold to distract the kids. Our God is more then capable of binding the enemy. If we would ask, he would give us the Nations! (Psalm 2:8)

Also, please pray for our health, safety, and continued financial provision.

Praise God for all the amazing things that He does!

Off on anouther adventure.

"Blessed is the man whose strength is in you, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage." Ps. 84:5

My time home has been wonderful! I'm sad to leave my friends, they have blessed me so much while I have been home. I am very excited for what is to come though! It's so incredible that we have brothers and sisters all over the world!
I am leaving For California on Monday (29th), and I will be there until July 11th. I'll be going on a road trip down the coast with three of my friends: Noah, Samantha, and Darren. Please pray that the Lord would give us traveling mercy and some sweet fellowship. I'm excited to see all of their churches and get to experience the other side of America.

Something I've really been chewing on lately is something pastor Joe said. We were studying the last three chapters in Judges, and what happened was Israel went to war against benjamin because they were in such sin. They asked God who should go to battle first, and He said Judah. When They went to battle though, judah got almost completely destroyed! So they went back to the Lord and asked him why they had not won. Then they realized, they had never asked God when they were to start fighting. We so often forgot to wait for God. He wants to fight all of our battle's for us. Doing the right thing at the wrong time is dangerous, and It's something we all need to remember. God has an appointed time to fufill in our lives all that He has promised us. For every thing there is a season.
